Drop Boxes

Drop boxes are a type of multiple live catch trap which works very effectively in conjunction with rabbit proof fencing.

We at Landmark Rabbit Management high recommened the use of box traps as they catch all habbitents alive, so that non target species such as adders, hedge hogs etc. So these can be immediately released and unharmed.

Boxes are ideally used when rabbits are travelling from one piece of land to another to feed via a fence line.

Rabbit proof fencing alone seldom stops determined rabbits from visiting their favourite feeding ground.

Without the use of box traps, rabbit proof fencing would soon become warn, damaged and eventually breached by rabbits determined to get to better feeding grounds.
